Letters from Home by David Snyder

I normally review books but let me self indulge for a moment and tell you about my book, Letters from Home by me, David Snyder. It is a book based on the letters to the churches, in Revelation 2 & 3. The main focus is to remind us that heaven is our true home. The letters from Jesus to the churches speak volumes to us today.
It is my prayer that this book will speak into your life in a real way as we investigate Jesus' words to each church.
I would recommend this book to anyone looking for a deeper walk with The Lord. I hope it will motivate you to spend time in the presence of God.
You can find this book on amazon.com in both print and kindle versions.

The Dare by David Snyder and Tara Snyder

Let me take another self-indulgence and let you know about my recent book my wife and I collaborated on. It is called The Dare Journal, by David Snyder (me) and Tara Snyder (my wife). It is a designed for Christian teens and young adults to help them get motivated to get into the Word of God and to share their faith. It is laid out similar to "Wreck this Journal", the goal is to challenge the reader with one unique dare daily or weekly, depending on how often you want to do it. You are then encouraged to write about what you did and what you learned from it.
The Dare encourages you in your faith and dares you to step out. Some of the dares are easy, things like writing down prayer requests. Some make you think, like writing down things you like about yourself.
Others are challenging, like taking a nature walk and collecting things that remind you of God (taping the things in the journal, etc)
There are also some very challenging things, paying for someones meal at a fast food restaurant and telling them, "Jesus loves them."
I would recommend our book to students and adults alike, anyone who is looking to be challenged to go deeper in their walk with the Lord.
You can find the book at Amazon.com by searching THE DARE JOURNAL...
