Everyday Greatness - Stephen Covey

Everyday Greatness by Stephen Covey is not just an everyday, average book. This is a treasure trove of inspirational and heartwarming stories. As I read through this book I found story after story of "everyday" people who have overcome odds, and shown incredible fortitude throughout all of life's difficulties. Each chapter deals with different qualities that the author feels makes us better people. Each of the stories was taken from the archives of the Reader's Digest and as an avid reader of RD I was thrilled to see this collection of stories. As a pastor I found this book a wonderful resource for sermon illustrations and teaching points. As I read I was inspired and moved by the strength each person had shown and the love that flowed from their hearts. The stories challenged me to be a better person, to make the most out of the "everyday" moments. The quotes and short stories were also very insightful and helped to drive home the point. I would highly recommend this book to anyone.
